I drove straight to Paul's office after leaving the company. My hands tightened around the steering wheel the entire ride. The news was everywhere and social media was buzzing with a lot of comments... thousands of opinions from people who knew nothing about the truth.
Everyone believed I was the villain. According to them, I had pretended to love Natalia so I could steal information about the Diamond business and crash the Carson Group. The stories became more ridiculous every hour.
Yet people believed them and that was the problem.The truth did not matter anymore.Only the story mattered and the story on ground was a very convincing one.
