The real Rose?

Masimo entered one of the private apartments of the hotel when John was waiting. To his surprise, Anastasia was also there. She looked devastated and was crying. 

"Mother, what happened?" - he rushed to her in a worry. "Please tell me what's wrong?"

Anastasia did not answer him, she just sobbed harder. Massimo panicked, seeing her in this state broke his heart. He only had seen his mother so desperate at his father's funeral. She was a very strong woman, many referred to her as the "steel lady", a reputation she had earned, by her resilience and willpower. Massimo knew that something very serious had happened, for her to react like this. 

"Massimo, we have to talk"- he heard John's voice after his back. He turned around and saw his friend, who was now offering a glass of water to his mother. 

"What is it?" Massimo asked with a voice even deeper than usual. He noticed that John also had a very serious expression on his face. 

"Is it about the investigation." - he said

"Did you find Lana?" - Massimo feared that the worst could have happened to her, maybe she was dead. 

"We don't know if she is alive or not. But even if she is, Lana is in very serious danger"

"How so?"

"After what happened that night, Lana totally disappeared. I don't know how she did it, but somehow she passed the borders, to hide from Hunter. I found traces of her in Finland. But then, it was still a dead end. After Hunter escaped from prison, he also went to hide in Europe. I know from my sources that he is also searching for her, to seek his revenge"

"That bastard" - Massimo cursed. "Well, we will find her first. And I'll make sure to find Hunter as well and when I do, he will see hell. " - Massimo poured a generous amount of whiskey in a glass, he was feeling angry

"He is gaining power again, his business is starting to flourish" 

"I'll make sure to crush them all by tomorrow morning" - Massimo said with a smirk

"His daughter is helping him to plan his comeback" - John said

"I'll make sure to ruin all of that b***h plans. Wait... that means his daughter is still in the country. If I find her, I will have that bastard in the palm of my hand. After all, she is the only one she seems to care about. She must also know something about Lana" - Massimo said and an evil smirk appeared on his face.

"His daughter is his only weakness. She is smart and deceiving and is also very dangerous. Rose made Lana's life miserable, she hates her with a passion. She needs to be controlled"

"Did you find her?" 

"I did actually. She is now right here. " - John said looking straight to his eyes

"Where?" 

"You married her tonight Massimo"

Massimo could not process what he just told him. 

"What the f**k are you talking about?"

"Your new bride Rose is the same Rose we were talking about. She is Hunter's daughter and I don't know how but she managed to get you under her spell" 

"What the f**k are talking about?" Massimo went furious and grabbed John by his collar, he felt like smashing his best friend's face. John did not react 

"It's all on the file, looked yourself."

Massimo pushed him harshly and opened the file. He saw her birth certificate, a certificate from the hospital, data of her payment of rent for the apartment, and even a bank account in her name, with a large sum of money. "So she wasn't poor, it was all an act?' - Massimo felt his blood boiling.

I spoke with her real mother this morning, Agnes Garcia. She was the one who told me her daughter was getting married today, which she wasn't even invited to. "

Massimo felt like the world was crushing over his shoulders, he felt disappointing, hurt, and above all angry. Could it be that it was all an act?

"Why didn't you told me earlier?" 

"I tried to, it was too late. The ceremony was already finished when I finally contacted you. Massimo doesn't feel bad. She ... she is very deceiving, a very calculated person. Rose has no limits on what she can do or when she can go. Knowing her as well as I do, I know for sure that meeting and seducing you, it has not been an accident. She has a plan. Hunter, already we have been after him for quite of a time now. "

Massimo punched him straight to his face, making John lose balance.

"Massimo" - Anastasia gasped. She has been quiet ever since Massimo joined their conversation

'Don't you dare speak like that for her? She is so f*****g innocent, she is an angel"

"Yes, that's what I thought too when she seduced me. I f*****g betrayed my sister's trust because of her lies, I didn't trust Lana and even called her names and it almost cost both of our lives. You don't know the real face of that snake Massimo. She made Lana's life miserable, she managed to expel her from school Lana worked so hard to get in to, she started a f*****g fire just to make Lana look guilty,  she almost got us both killed, she got involved in her father criminal activities, including human trafficking and children exploitation. Should I go on? Because the list is much more longer.'

"She is a lair and she married you because she clearly has an agenda. Her own mother told me so" - John was now yelling. 

"Massimo is the main reason for Lana's pain and misery. Rose was so jealous of her, nothing she had was enough. She was beautiful and smart, she had everything but always felt inferior before Lana. She started f*****g acting like her, dressing and talking like Lana, went everything after what Lana liked and loved. She destroyed her reputation, her life, her future."

Massimo went silent, all that could be heard in the room were Anastasia's sobbings.

"The only reason I did not come to face her, is because I am not sure if I can control my anger. If we want to find Lana, we need to control her action through"

Massimo was now filled with rage and anger, he felt his blood boiling but his mind was cold. The only woman he loved turns out to be a deceiving b***h, but now she will learn who the f**k she was messing with. 

"Mother I promised you that I will find your daughter and I will make everyone who has hurt you or Lana pay dearly for their deeds. I will keep that promise."

Anastasia wiped off her tears and spoke with a cold voice. 

"She is the daughter of that monster who took my child from me and made my life a living hell. Not only that but Rose made my daughter's life a pure misery and deceived you into marriage. I want her to pay for each of the lies and deeds. "

"She will mother, she will pay with tears of blood, I also promise you that" - Massimo said in a deep voice, who sounded calmed but in reality, it was filled with rage. 

"Massimo we need to keep her close, you can't let her go"- John said

"Oh don't worry, she isn't going anywhere" Massimo left the room, he was now seeing red.
