Broken Angel

Proposal

"Tell me Rose what is your biggest dream?" - Massimo asked her casually

She looked at him surprised by his question. "Take your time, you don't need to answer right away"

"I don't need time to think. My biggest dream is to have a loving family and maybe to open a restaurant. But for me having a family is the most important" - she said in her soft voice and looked dreamy at the view of the lake ahead of them.

She never fail to surprise him, she had such simple dreams.

"Well, when you'll marry me you will automatically own many restaurants. And I'll make sure we'll have many many babies right away. With you angel, I am ready to make a whole football team."- he said in his deep voice. 

His words made Rose shiver, was he really talking about a future and a family together? She turned her head around and suddenly he saw Massimo kneeling in front of her. 

"Marry me Rose" - he said and without even waiting for an answer he pushed a ring over her delicate finger.

"I...I... are you sure about this?" - she whispered as tears started falling from her eyes. 

"Never have I been so determined in my life angel" - he said and gave her a passionate kiss, he only let her go when she was struggling for air.

"I love you " - she said looking him in the eyes. Her eyes now changed to a deep forest green color, he felt like her soul was speaking straight to him. 

"I love you too baby girl, you are my angel, my innocent angel " - he kissed her again and took her in his embrace. 

For the first time in her life she felt like she belonged, she felt so safe and loved. And he felt like the luckiest man in the world, holding her in his arms.
