Broken Angel

Nightmares

At the other side of the city, at the same time Massimo fell asleep thinking of the girl who had invaded his mind, she woke up crying, covered in sweat and painting hard. She was having another nightmare. 

She got up from the bed and went straight to the bathroom for a warm shower. She was still crying and scratching her skin hard but tried her best to relax and compose herself. When she got out of the shower, she took a good look at the mirror. Her eyes were dark blue now, puffy and with a red shade on them because of the breakdown she had. The mark of the operation had almost faded away, but her skin was also kind of red, because of violent stretches, it wasn't to clean herself, but to remove his touch from her. After the incident at work, all the bad memories suddenly come back, crashing her soul and her mind. 

She wondered if she did something wrong if somehow she passed her boundaries and that scary man thought she was seducing him. She never thought of such a thing, how could she? He was the owner of the restaurant and a notorious billionaire, he was all over the news for his successes and models he dated. Never had crossed her mind that she could seduce him, she was literally a nobody. His behavior made her feel like trash like she was just someone he can use for his pleasures and then just to be thrown away. But she was also human, she had feelings and emotions, why couldn't others see that?

'Another nightmare sweetie?" - Nana asked softly when she return to the room to get dressed. She was really hoping that she would not have wake her up, but their house was so small like a matchbox, of course, she heard her. 

"Yeah... I am sorry for waking you up" - she almost whispered. "Go back to sleep, is still early"

"Don't forget to take your medicines Rose" - Nana said and turn back to the other side. 

She took a deep breath. "Nana at least when we are together, don't call me that"

"It's for your own sake sweetie, you should have gotten used to it by now" - Nana said and went back to sleep again.

"Sir, Rose has resigned from her job"- the manager was surprised that none less but  Massimo Stark was asking about Rose. 

"She quit her job yesterday, she was crying when she came to my office, I assumed she had an emergency or something bad had happened to her or to her family. I insisted for her to stay because she was one of the most skilled employees that we had in years. Rose can speak several languages which really came to help with how many international clients we have, she was great at accounting and helped me with the balance often. Recently she had started working in the kitchen, our chef says she is a real talent and started training her, she was doing great. She was very trustworthy, punctual, and a hard worker. I don't know the reason she left, we going to have a hard time replacing her "

"Give me her address and her mobile number" - Massimo ordered and then dismissed him.

"So my sexy kitten may be really innocent after all. But is not that easy getting away from my kitten, not after messing with my mind and hunting my thoughts" The fact that she had resigned surprised Massimo. At first he got angry, how dare she try to run away from him? Did she even realize who she was dealing with? Any other woman would have been over the moon, he never made the first move with anyone, were they who willingly spread their legs wide for him and were happy to do so. But then he also felt content and kind of impressed.  Maybe she wasn't like the other girls. And the way the manager spoke about her was really impressive, she was smart and gifted. Well with that body of hers she could have any man under her spell, to provide for her but she chooses to work instead. "You'll be mine kitten, all mine" - he said to himself and that thought made him excited.  

His thoughts were interrupted by his P.A "Sir it's almost 4 pm. You asked me to remind you about the charity event at the orphanage that your mother is holding"

"Yes. I'll not come tomorrow to the office, send my two main files home. "

"Yes sir"  

Massimo wore his jacket and left the office. Even after a long day at the office, he was looking handsome as ever and his presence alone had this intense aurora of power and dominance.
