“Ehmmm, mom…” I started, Catherine looked up from her paperwork.
“Can you help me dress someone for a dinner date tonight?”
“Of course darling! Who's the lucky person?” She asked with a smile
“It's Ma Jane. I really want her to feel special for the date tonight”
“That's a wonderful thing you're doing for your Ma Jane person. I will need to see what she has available” Catherine said.
We got to Ma Jane's room and I knocked gently on the door before entering. Ma Jane looked up from her spot, momentarily surprised.
“Ma Jane, it's us!” I said, stepping inside with Catherine.
“We're here to help you get ready for your date tonight”
“Help me?” She echoed
“Yes! We want you to look absolutely stunning” I said, gesturing for her to rise.
