Running through the hospital doors, I stopped right at the desk and began shouting that they take me to my mother’s room. A nurse who was at the desk told me her room number and I ran into the elevator and began pressing the buttons impatiently. Bringing me up to the Emergency ward, I stepped off the elevator and ran right up to Melissa who was pacing the floor.
“What happened?” I practically shouted at her.
“She accidentally heard that you were kidn*pped and she began sobbing. The next thing I know she was shaking vigorously and was foaming at the mouth.” Sinking at the floor, I began sobbing while wondering why bad things have to happen to good people.
