Third Person POV The Council's grand chamber was silent save for the crackling of torches when a young omega entered, bowing deeply. In her trembling hands, she held an envelope that seemed to glow with supernatural energy. "Speak," Xavier commanded from behind his massive oak desk. "An invitation, sir," the omega said softly. "It... it arrived by moonlight." Xavier's eyes narrowed as the omega placed the envelope before him. The paper was thick, creamy white, with silver script that seemed to dance in the torchlight. Supernatural energy radiated from it in gentle waves. "By moonlight?" he repeated sharply. "Yes, sir. It materialized in a beam of moonlight, right there on the receiving desk.
