I stared at the screen showing Sienna bound and terrified. "You want me to kill my best friend," I said flatly. "I want you to prove your loyalty. Kill her, and I know you will do anything I ask. Refuse, and everyone dies—starting with Grace." Rebecca checked her watch. "You have ten minutes to decide. After that, federal agents breach every location, and your clubs cease to exist." My mind raced. There had to be a way out. Some angle Rebecca had not considered. Then I saw it. Small detail. The timestamp on the security feeds showing the federal raid preparation. It was frozen. Not live. A loop. "You are bluffing," I said. "Those feeds are not real-time. You do not have the authority to coordinate simultaneous federal raids. You said Marcus ruined your career—you are not FBI anymore.
