The beam snapped and the world became chaos. I grabbed Albert's arm and pulled. He was too heavy, too broken, but adrenaline made me strong. "Move!" "Eva, go!" He tried to push me toward the hole but I held on tighter. "Not without you, you stubborn asshole!" Derek appeared above us, reaching through the opening. "Grab my hand! Both of you!"
