Cole's POV
He had spent the past week tailing Crystal, but like he had told Ellen, she was never alone. If she and Xavier weren't with him, they were with his parents. Who were, of course, obsessed with their grandchild.
In fact, most days when him and David switched off with Kai and Tyler, he almost couldn't get him back. Ellen was beginning to feel safe, especially when he moved Steven in a room on the main floor. He didn't trust him, of course, but if it helped Ellen feel better, so be it. Steven had his own set of guards, but if he was around Xavier, then he was around Cole or his family. Cole didn't like to admit it, but the man seemed to really care about Katrina and their son.
