Crystals POV
She was pacing back and forth across her father's office. She felt angry, but more than that, she felt cheated. They had put years into their plan to make her Queen, and now, because of some wimpy little human, it was all crashing down around her.
Her father was watching her, his emotions concealed. He was angry with her, she knew, but it really wasn't her fault. "Who is it that they brought into the pack house?" He asked her again.
She growled. "Not into the pack house, into the alpha suite." She knew he wasn't sleeping in there, not that she thought he would after seeing it was an old lady.
Her dad snapped at her. "Sit down and answer my questions before I run out of patience."
