"Excuse me?" She said, her mouth hanging open in what could only be shock. "Who's your mate?"
The woman, Crystal, looked at her for a long moment. "I have not found my mate yet, but it doesn't matter, because Cole and I decided to be together years ago. Even if I found them, I would reject him." She said before pulling out a piece of paper.
"This is our contract, stating our wedding will be two years from now." Katrina grabbed the paper from her hand, and began reading it. She didn't know when she had sat down, but when she finished rereading the page she found herself sunk back into the couch.
