Alpha Cole POV
Everything had gone well enough with informing Alpha Reed, he had already figured out that Katrina would be leaving with him. The only issue in their little meeting when a man a little younger than himself entered. He didn't know who he was, but he smelled his mates blood on him.
Without pausing Cole slammed this stranger into the wall; his hands wrapped around his throat. Zane was roaring in his head, there were no words, just a sound of pure anger. Cole growled himself.
He was shaking trying to keep from murdering this stupid a*****e. He felt David pulling at him from behind but he could only smell his little mates blood. This man had hurt Katrina.
He heard David telling Alpha Reed to help. Alpha Reed holding off until then, besides yelling at Cole to release his warrior. They wouldn't be able to make him release the warrior, not if he didn't want to.
Cole watched the man begin to turn purple before finally releasing his hand. "Scrub my mates blood off you skin before I remove your skin." He said, his voice a deep growl. Zane was right on the surface, one eye black, the other brown.
The warrior didn't say anything else, just ran out of the room, still trying to choke down air.
Cole turned to Alpha Reed, he wanted so badly to just end this entire pack and start over again. However, the King liked Alpha Reed and would probably be a little angry if he murdered everybody. 'He may also understand,' Zane said, not really caring either way. 'We're not pups anymore' He added.
Cole ignored him, his voice a little too tempting at the moment. "I am glad we came to an agreement before that man walked in, otherwise I'd be tempted to just let Zane loose." He watched the older man gulp.
They may both be Alpha's, but Cole was of Royal blood, he was faster, stronger and deadlier than almost every wolf. Plus he'd been trained with the Royal elites his entire life. Even if some Alpha did attack or even kill Cole, they'd have the entire kingdom after them, along with every pack sworn to us. Everyone was well aware of this, and nobody was interested in losing everything to him.
Alpha Reed bowed to him before offering his hand. He considered not taking it, but after a moment he shook his hand. "I hope you both all the happiness," Reed said.
Cole nodded his thanks. "I'm sure we will be seeing you soon." He left before anything else could happen. He should have left two minutes earlier.

Cole didn't even look at her attacker at first, Tyler had her in hand and they didn't matter. Katrina looked so tiny on the ground as he ran to her.
As he got closer he saw the shattered window, and the pool of blood that was beginning to form around her head. 'This day, what is even going on around here?' Cole shouted, not wanting a response, just p****d.
He slid to the ground as he approached, stopping right beside her head. He stripped off the shirt an omega had given him, pressing it to where he thought she was bleeding. It was soaked within minutes.
He picked her up, and threw open the door to the front seat. He did his best to wrap the shirt around her head, making sure she stayed upright. 'That's right, right? Keep the wound up highest to stop blood flow?' Cole knew he was, but he was panicking.
He never should have left her side. He buckled her in quickly to hold her up right. He turned to glare at Tyler are the woman he was holding. He was trying to decide if he really should just kill this entire pack when suddenly Young Alpha Nate came running up.
"What is going on here? Let go of my Luna!" He shouted at Tyler.
Cole didn't give him a chance to say anything else, he walked over and got in his face. "This women just attacked your future Princess. My. Mate." Nate lost all color in his face.
"I'm so sorry Alpha Prince, we had no idea." He said raising his hands, in both apology and defense.
"If this is how you and your future Luna treat your subjects then I don't know if we will allow you to ascend to Alpha." Nate somehow got even paler, almost translucent. "I will be coming back to discuss this with the King. Both of you be ready." Cole snarled.
"David you drive, Tyler let her go and get in the back." Cole ordered, he undid Katrinas seatbelt, picking her back up and then sitting down with her on his lap. Wrapping one arm around her thin waist, he pulled her body close to him, hoping the mate bond would help her heal. Even if they weren't mated or marked yet, it should help some.
David tore out of the drive, while Cole held the already soaked shirt against her head.
"Drive faster than you have ever driven. Your Princesses life depends on it." Cole didn't speak another word to either of them for the rest of the hour drive.
He was however whispering to Katrina the entire ride. Begging her to hold on, that she had said she'd give him a chance, she couldn't leave him. She didn't wake up the entire ride.
Zane had completely shut him out, but even through his thick wall he could feel Zane desperately trying to heal her through the bond.
*****************************
Tyler had called the Royals personal doctor when they were fifteen minutes out, letting him know the situation, including that this was Coles mate.
Cole didn't listen in, just held his mate. He kept the heat blaring, she felt so cold; there was so much blood all over, his skin was soaked and her clothes felt wet enough to wring out. Her heart was still beating, of that he was certain, he could feel it through her back against his chest. It was like his own heart beating.
The moment the car slid in front of the palace doors the Dr had yanked open Cole's door. The look on his face caused Coles heart to triple in speed. The Dr looked scared, not just for her, but if their prince lost her.
"Let's go, quickly, quickly." The Dr said running into the palace, not even attempting to take her from the Princes arms. Smart move.
They raced inside, his mother and father who had been standing by the doors ran after them, along with the Princes Beta and Gamma.
Nobody but the Queen actually followed them into the room they could use if she needed surgery. Cole knew he had to release her to let Dr. Simms check her over but he was terrified.
It was his mother's hand that finally made him release her. He looked at the Dr, trying to convey his absolute desperation on his face. "Please, please keep her alive for me."
Dr. Simms face cleared as he went into medical mode, one of the reasons he was the Dr to the royal family was his ability to remain calm in an emergency.
"I will do everything I can," he swore. Then his mother guided him out.
