She didn't know what she thought of the encounter with Steve. Being only the second person to ever kiss her. She was trying hard not to compare it to the multiple kisses she had shared with Cole. Those were pointless to consider, and all it did was make her long for someone who was never hers to begin with.
Instead she focused on what he had said. That was hard too. He accused Cole of doing her wrong, and while he had hurt her, it wasn't intentional. He had tried to make it work, but they both knew she would never be able to be his Queen, and Xavier would never be heir. At the time she was just a human. And even now, she doubted they would accept her. Witches were to hire, not meant to be their Queen, their Luna.
