When the explosion rocked Central Street, Eric was already airborne with his executives, returning to Norbridge. This had been carefully planned. The shorter their stay, the less suspicion would arise about their setup. Just as Eric began to drift off, his heart suddenly dropped, jolting him awake. He sat there for a long moment, catching his breath, then turned to the person beside him. "Did we just hit turbulence?" The man blinked. "No? It's been smooth the whole way." Eric didn't pursue it, attributing the unease to a dream where he'd lost his footing, leaving his chest peculiarly tight. He rubbed his chest absently before closing his eyes again to rest.
