I don’t know who to blame.
Should I blame myself for not picking up the damn phone? Or for walking away in the first place?
Can I really call it cheating?
Can I really move on?
“You are not considering giving her a second chance, are you?” Eric asks, with both eyebrows raised.
“I don’t know, all I know that I can’t just walk away from her, Eric”,
“Listen, I know what you had was special and all, but she slept with him” he reminds me as if I forgot.
“She was in heat, and she was looking for me, even though her wolf wanted her mate… and we both know how the mate bond works but still… Leila chose me” she did, she was coming for me, she suffered for hours asking only for me.
“You are actually defending her?” he yells at me.
