Jade got finished just in time, as she heard motorbikes pulling up. ‘How great it would be to get on one of those and right off, free as the wind,’ she thinks as she walks to the staircase that leads to the basement, where she spends most of her time.
“Hey mud, you better stay down there,” Peter Skyle says, giving her a notch that almost makes her fall, but she finds her footing just in time, before reaching the stairs.
Jade hated Peter, the pack Beta that always miss treated her.
‘At least the previous pack Beta never mistreated her despite the fact that his son did not like her,’ Jade thinks as she snarls at Peter.
Peter steps forward, giving her a fright making her run down the stairs, “you better run you good for nothing mud.”
