Nina limps behind the other wolves back to Jerimiah’s house to get to the pack doctor, “I don’t think I am going to make it.”
‘Andy Nina is not going to make it we need the pack doctor now,’ one of the wolves’ mind links Andy.
Andy grabs the first keys he could found followed by the pack doctor with a medical kit in tow. When they reach Nina, it was already late.
‘Take care of my remaining kids,’ Nina's mind links Jerimiah privately as she lets go of this world to be with her lost pups.
Andy picks up Nina’s lifeless wolf body and puts her on the back seat. Disappointed in the circumstances he gets back into the car, “are you coming?”
“I am going to check on Elizabeth, maybe she needs my help,” the pack doctor says not sure if she would be allowed.
