For her eighteenth birthday, Blanchette did not celebrate because it is also the day they honored Hayley.
Blanchette went over to Jerimiah’s to hear if he wants to spend the day with her to be closer to Hayley.
“Thank you for coming over. Sorry that your birthday is also now ruined like mine with the shadow of death hanging over it,” Jerimiah says.
“Happy birthday, by the way,” Jerimiah says, giving her a hug.
“Thank you. So what do you want to do today?” Blanchette asks.
“Stare at Hayley, I suppose,” Jerimiah says, joking.
“Sure but can you do that while I eat, I am starved,” Blanchette says walking into the house.
“I made you some mince pie again,” Jerimiah says dishing up.
“Thank you,” Blanchette says politely even though she is sick of mince pie.
