“You’ve been doing very well in the past few days Miss Lottie. Your lungs are in a very much good condition and all your vitals are stable. It is safe to say, that you can he discharged today,” The doctor said, as he looked up from his pad after jotting a few things down.
A smile widened on my lips as I nodded. The happiness swelling in my chest knew no bounds.
Sitting on the edge of the hospital bed, I felt remarkably better than I had in days. The doctors and nurses had been diligent in their care, and my breathing was no longer labored. The morning sun filtered through the window, adding a hint to the joy I felt.
