The long windy steps lead all the way down to the lake. If I was going to sleep outside I at least wanted a nice view to fall asleep to. After walking for another 5 minutes, I had finally made it to the lake. It was beautiful and the surface around it was fairly flat. The trees that curved around the edges met perfectly in the distance and the water was crystal clear. I laid my towel down on the ground and folded the spare towel into a pillow.
