Victoria’s POV
Makarius, please say something, I begged, tears streaming down my face.
There’s nothing to say, Victoria. I don’t want the baby.
Take that back! I yelled.
“She’s the reason I lost you!" he shouted. Go. Leave me alone, his voice was cold.
He’s not fighting for me, doesn’t even want the child?
It hurts so much. I can hardly breathe.
I stepped outside and saw my dad arguing with Cadmus. He turned quickly when he saw me.
Dad, can I talk to you? I could barely breathe from the pain. I still love Makarius, but he’s hurting me.
Tell me, child. Come here. I sobbed against his chest. Take my children with you. I need time to recover. Then I’ll come too.
