SADIE. Damn... everything hurt! I opened my eyes and pressed both hands to my temples, trying to stem the throb of pain. My arms ached, my skin burned, and the world around me spun. But I was alive! And if I was lucky, so was my baby. “She’s awake!” I heard someone call to my side, then turned my head to meet Rogan’s intense gaze. His hand slid over my arm and interlinked our fingers. “Sadie, my beautiful mate.
