I reached home and took a hot shower. I made a cup of tea for me and then walked to the living room, I sat on the couch and started relaxing. I had to go out with Lucy. She wants to buy some new clothes, it was decided a long back. I went back to my room and got dressed in a western outfit. I then walked straight to the car and drove to Lucy's home. I picked her up and left for a shopping mall. Long way!... We entered the mall and walked to the lady's section. We started looking for some blue, black and white type of clothes, as we are not interested in pink or any other girlish colors. "How's it?" She asked "Ughh Lucy...I don't like it!" I said while making a disgusting expression. Then we looked for some more clothes..."Hey sweet girls!" I heard a guy's voice from behind. I turned back to see who was it "what the heck are you both doing here?" I asked in confusion. "Lucy invited us!" Matt replied. I turned to Lucy and said "am I not enough? Why do you want them to decide what you are gonna buy?" She chuckled and said "huh! You are too much! I just invited them, so that we can have dinner together" I huffed and started searching for some clothes, Joe asked me "why are you being so rude to us?" I looked up at him and said "No! I am not! Just wanted some space with my best friend, who is busy with your best friend!" He laughed at my childish behavior and I saw him with anger...
I got a sudden text from Jim "hey sis, dad wants you to get back home as soon as possible!" we were having our dinner in a restaurant at that time. Lucy asked "what happened, you look worried" I looked at her and said, "dad wants me to get back home as soon as possible!" Matt patted my shoulder and said "no worries, you both go to the car, we will meet you outside after paying the bill" I ran out of the restaurant followed by Lucy. We sat in the car and waited for Matt and Joe... After a few minutes they walked out of the restaurant, Matt asked Lucy to join them so I can get back home soon. I agreed and asked the driver to drive back to the house!"
I entered the house and saw Jim waiting for me on the door, I asked him with fear "what happened?" when he opened his mouth to reply I heard dad saying "come to your room, I will say what happened" I followed him to my room, without waiting for a second he asked me "are you dating Joe?" I got shocked for a while. Who did the heck say to him that we both are dating? He asked me again "are you both dating, Liya?" I nodded and whispered "yes" after all I can't lie to my dad. He took a deep breath and said "see Liya I don't want you to build a relationship with any guy. I am your dad and I will find a person who will be capable of you." Tears escaped my eyes and I said to him "H-he is ca-pable of m-me!" I was shivering with fear. He took a step towards me and said "I am giving you two days to end everything that is going on between you both." He was leaving the room when I dared to ask him "who said you that...we are dating?" he turned back to me and asked, "why do you wanna know?" I said without thinking once "because I have the right to" He nodded and said "Chris" after that he left my room. Chris! WHY! I took out my mobile from the handbag and called Chris several times but he kept disconnecting my call every time. I then thought to face him tomorrow in the office... I couldn't sleep for the whole night. How can I leave Joe? He is my first love! He is my everything. Jim entered my room and tried to calm me. But I couldn't, I was filled with anger and the pain at the same time. He left my room saying that everything is going to be alright.
The next morning I woke up and texted Chris 'pick me up'. I got dressed and walked out of the house when I heard Chris's car's horn. I sat in the car, after driving for some time, I asked him to stop the car. He looked at me with his brow raised. I repeated my words. He did as I said. I opened the door and walked out of the car and he followed me, the street was filled with silence. I stood in front of him and asked "why did you say my dad about Joe and me?" He smirked at me and said "because I love you" I froze for a second. What does he mean by that...I came back to my senses and said "you said my dad the truth because you love me!... ARE YOU CRAZY!" he laughed at my words, I just wanted to punch him hard. I just grinned my teeth and said "you are going to pay for this." He walked towards me, there was just a fingerbreadth distance between us. I pushed him back and said "I just love Joe! Get out of my life." I walked in search of a cab but he held my hand tightly and forced me to sit in the car, I shouted at him "what the heck do you think you are" He sat on the driver's seat and said "a cheater... I cheated you, I broke your trust, so I am a cheater!" I looked at him with anger and sat back silently, I thought to myself that I can't handle this deal without Joe.
