Liya's P.O.V

It was almost a week since we returned from the camp, I said Lucy about Joe and she said that I was a fool because I gave up so soon... I didn't feel bad because she is my best friend. I was sitting in my room when Jim knocked on the door. I let him in and he said he has something important to say me, I focused towards every word he was saying "the day when your friend came to visit our house. Dad liked her a..and I think I like her too....So that's the reason I was here and I need your help if you want to do so!" He said making a puppy face . I had no idea that what to do, I mean is he really in love with her? I said him " Is it a request or a wish?" He said it was his request so I said him "if it was your wish then I would for sure help, but it's your request so it's not that important to help you!" He gave me deadly gazes and I laughed loudly then continued "if she likes you too then I can help you or if she likes someone else then I must say, I'm sorry!" He nodded agreeing with what I said and left the room.... Here I was not sure what to do with my life and my brother wants me to settle his life too. "Ughh!" I shouted and went to bed for sleeping.

I woke up and got ready for going to school, I had my breakfast and then left for school. When I reached the school as usual there was a discussion going on the last bench between Matt, Lucy and Joe. But this time it looked like they were talking about 'a top secret'! And I feel Matt and Lucy both started co operating with each other rather than fighting like 5 years old kids. I sat on my bench and took out a novel 'A Walk to Remember' by ' Nicholas Sparks' which I started few days back. Actually the book belongs to my dad, he was cleaning his bookshelf 5 days ago and he got too many books he didn't want to keep back in his shelf so Robet, Jim and I took his permission and chose the books we wanted to read.... While I was reading my book Lucy jumped on my back and said 'hey', I looked at her and said her "finally you got time to come and talk to me!" She pouted and said "we were planning for something so I didn't see when you arrived." I didn't want to argue more so I agreed with what she said. I was not getting what should I ask her. Should I be straight forward and ask her that she loves Jim or should I ask that who is her crush. IT'S SO HARD TO DECIDE, Jim is making my life just like a hell!

"So, do you have a crush on someone!" I asked being curious. She said no. I said okay and continued with my other work, obviously I can't ask her that what she thinks about Jim because for sure she will understand that something's wrong.I don't know why but I felt that Lucy was hiding something from me but why ? It's so awkward to be ignored by her and she isn't saying me anything too. I hope she isn't angry or disappointed with me.

It was really a long day without talking to Lucy, I couldn't find Robet and Jim too since I returned the house. Dad arrived late at night too. This day is actually creepy! I thought to study so I took out my books and started learning.... It was 12 midnight when Robet and Jim were back, I went downstairs to talk to them but they ignored me too. Tears automatically escaped my eyes. But that mustn't happen because they ignore me from the day I was born, so what if nowadays they are being good to me? Might be they are being good to me so they can use me when they need me and then when I am of no use they are going to throw me like a waste tissue paper. I went to my room and slept.....

The next morning when I woke up, dad said me not to attend the school. I agreed with what he said though I wanted to attend the school. He again said me "go and get ready, your brothers are going to take you somewhere." Where are they going to take me? I turned to walk to my room but dad stopped me "Liya! Wait for a second." I stood their waiting, he took a packet and handed me and continued "apply some make up from the make up kit and wear the dress which I bought for you, that is in this packet" he said this much and left for office. Actually he never buys something for me, he just gives me some money and send with my auntie to buy me some clothes. I ran to my room and started getting ready.

The dress was twirled down into shocks of midnight blue, whispering silver hiding among the indigo; stars peeping through broken slits of sky. I wore it, actually it looked too fancy but I must listen to dad, right? I applied midnight blue eye shadow same as the color of the gown and capricious color lipstick shade.
