Chapter 9: Night's Prowl

2011 Words
Jay and I walked around the mall, obviously getting attention from the fawning women around us. I felt more sheepish than usual because I, myself, have never had so many eyes on me like this before. Jay seemed oblivious to the so-called "in heat" girls around him, which honestly, is normal for a guy. Guys don't really know when to take a hint when it comes to girls showing interest in them. As a matter of fact, most of them feel like when a girl truly has interest in them, it is a trap. Can't blame them though... I have seen it happen too many times. I could tell that Jay was still a bit agitated from what happened earlier. I bumped him with my shoulder. "Hey, everything is alright. I'm alright," I assured him. "I think the only enemy that matters to women... is women," he thinned his lips. "You could be on to something there," I admitted. As women, we don't really care much about men's opinions, but when it comes to another woman, things can get heated real fast. It can go from "you're beautiful" to "you're a b***h and I hate you". Literally a 1-100 real quick. But I am glad that I have a new bestest friend. I wonder how things would've been different if Jay was actually a girl? I shook away that thought. The last thing that I needed was for a very attractive woman to be hanging around with me and then society just bullying me because I wasn't born with such traits and features. Right now, I do not mind the attention going to Jay. He could care less about it too. "I know!" a somewhat dim light bulb sprouted from my thoughts, "let's go to the club tonight!" "What is that?" Jay asked. "It's where random strangers pay to rub their sweaty bodies against each other while performing clothes s*x," I explained. Jay lifted an eyebrow, "That does not sound fun at all." "Well..." I paused, "I think I over explained that from my point of view." "It sounds like you know a whole lot about these 'clubs'," he pressed. "Well, not from my personal experience," I admitted, "I've only been to the club once." "Why would you go to the club? It doesn't sound to thrilling," I heard him say. "Well, let's just say it's for the ambiance and the legal way to poison yourself to have a good time?" I questioned myself at that response. He just looked at me and said nothing. It felt like eternity until he finally looked away and said, "Fine. We can go for tonight. But, just for tonight." I felt like a child that was getting a reward for all her good behavior at that response. "So do you have a club in mind?" he asked. I totally blanked out! I don't even remember the one that I have been to! "Uhhhh." "You should take him to Cheetahs," Hiram popped out of nowhere. "Isn't that a...." "Oh hush, it's going to be so much fun!" he insisted. "Shall I research what this club is about?" Jay asked. "No..." Hiram dismissed me, "Why don't we research in person instead?" "We?" I blurted out. "YASSSS!" he exclaimed and grabbed my arm and began pulling me away. Long story short... we made it to Cheetahs and surprisingly, it was already dark. There wasn't a line just yet as the club had just opened. "Come on in, y'all kids have your IDs right?" Hiram giggled. I always have mine on me. You might never know when you get pulled over driving a moped. There are a lot of people who blame bikers for traffic, but don't get me started on the extreme hatred for those who ride mopeds. "I don't have mine," Jay spoke. "Wh-what are we going to do?" I looked at Hiram. "It'll be fine, this fine man has a beard. They will know he is over 21 for sure!" he responded. Now, I wasn't the one supposed to feel the anxiety right now, but I was! This wasn't my idea of going clubbing, but I guess we can watch sweaty bodies without th touching. Right? As Hiram and I got our IDs scanned it came to Jay, who was not phased at all. The bouncer was just a bit taller than Jay, but Jay's demeanor and seriousness had him thumbing away. "Welcome back Mr.Jay," he gestured inside. What?! Did he just let him slide through? Jay nodded and then entered alongside us. "Seems like that guy knows you," I was speculating. "Or he may have been here, one too many times," Hiram joked. "Let's go," he said. So we sat down at the very front of the main stage. There was ample room for people to lean in while the dancers danced and teased. But I still remained nervous. The DJ was pumping up some music as more people came in. Soon, there were enough viewers for the first dancer to come out. We heard the DJ announce, "We are going to start you off with a little special treat. This is our new dancer... Ms. Terri!" The lights cued and the beat bounced off the walls. We looked forward to where the dancer made her appearance. She was wearing a ballroom mask and what seemed to be very little clothing. She wore a corset and extreme high heels. She was a brunette and her body shape was outstanding! She had a lovely tattoo draped from her neck down to her chest. It resembled a piece of jewelry that really took on the shape of her chest. Her eyes were dark brown and her skin was that perfect mocha shade. "Ladies and gents, get out your bills and show some love!" the DJ began spinning his platters. The money came flying in, there seemed to be a lot of people that anticipated this dancer and she began to dance for the crowd that offered most. "So, we gotta pay to watch people dance?" Jay asked. "Well, you give her a dollar... the more you give the more she takes off," Hiram explained and then whistled while flagging a five dollar bill, "Over here baby!" Ms.Terri heard his whistle and cat walked over to his offering, she slowly did the splits and leaned forward to Hiram. "What do I have the pleasure of satisfying you?" she purred. Her voice was so seductive that it could possibly turn a gay man straight. But not Hiram. Nope. Not this guy. "Oh no sweetie," he whispered back, "I would be your competition," he then gestured to Jay, "Why don't you take care of our friend here and I'll buy you for your time." Ms.Terri preyed her eyes on Jay and was instantly interested. She looked back at Hiram who was awaiting her answer for the challenge, "You're lucky he is cute, how much are you offering?" "$300!" Hiram flashed his fan of $5 bills, "Deal or no deal?" "Definite deal," she happily accepted the fan through her mouth. "What did you do?" I punched Hiram on the shoulder, "Did you just purchase him a freaking happy ending?" "No, you dumbass, OW!" he rubbed his sore arm, "It's code for her to just dance on him throughout his stay here. "Oh," I was able to breathe. "Do you want your own dancer?" Jay looked over at me. "Me? No no, I think I am good!" I shook my hands in front of me. "Where's the fun in that?" Jay smirked. All of a sudden Ms.Terri got up and waved her reels and the DJ spoke again. "Oh? It looks like Ms.Terri is bought out for the night! Let us welcome our next dancer to the stage." A beautiful blonde girl with blue eyes confidently walked out onto stage. Her custom consisted of that of a french maid outfit. This is usually considered basic, but man she had the body I couldn't dream to have. She had a flower sleeve on her right leg and a tramp stamp on her lower back. She had really nice angel wings tatted as well! "You want her?" Hiram asked. "I said no," I tried to hush him. "Ofcourse not," Jay said, "They look related." My face burned bright red as I realized what he meant by that. Hiram laughed and then pulled out a coin, "Heads is a yes. Tails is a no," and flipped it in the air. "I thought you were struggling with money!" I hissed, "What is this?" "I can';t bring money past my grave sweetie," he said and caught the coin, "Life is all about the risks you don't take... well except for the ones that cause STD's then y'all can have all that." He revealed the coin and it was tails. "Awe," he sat back down, "Didn't get to see stepsister scene." I wanted to rock him so bad, but in a playful way. "You wouldn't even enjoy that!" I scoffed, "We are not at a gay strip bar for you to be interested." You're right," Hiram squealed, "But seeing Mr.Jay over there getting pleasured is enough for me." This guy! Ms.Terri was now on the floor with the rest of us, while the other dancer began her routine. She sat on Jay's lap. She began to smoothly grind against his crotch and carefully caressed his body. I saw her whisper hot breaths in his ear that I did not want to be a part of. I looked over at Hiram, who I could tell was fantasizing that the woman was him. Then I looked over at Jay. He was not expressing any emotion at all. He just kept looking forward, and then I heard Ms.Terri moan, complaining that he was "hard to please". A waitress came by and offered us some free drinks. Hiram gladly took some and I took one. One of us had to be designated driver and, honestly, I'd like Jay to have fun, so... Hiram and I cheered to tonight. Jay grabbed the drink out of my hand and offered it to Ms.Terri. She happily accepted and then deviously pressed her lips against his. I saw that she was transferring the alcohol down his throat! Oh my god! Jay drank it and Ms.Terri was happy and began to lap dance him once more. "They're not allowed to do that!" I pointed out. "What are you going to do? Call the cops?" Hiram asked, while studying every gulp Jay took. He was right. Maybe I am being too uptight. "Okay, I'll take the next one," I sighed. Hiram's eyes darted to me, "Ohemjesus, are you serious?" "Yes," I sighed again. "Waiter!" Hiram called out, "Two shots please!" The waiter happily nodded and went to put in his order. I felt my chest pounding and the music seemed to be louder than before. Maybe it was amped up because of my anxiety, but I did have to relax. This wasn't the initial plan, but I had to learn to make best of what I have in front of me. "Thank you for your patronage," the DJ boomed, "Next up, is Cheetah's top gal. Straight from sin city, LAS VEGAS! Lustine!" That was such a punny name, I thought. When the dancer came out she was behind a large cloak. She seemed to be in a hurry and clearly ignoring the other patreons. She looked like she was heading straight to us! I suddenly had a bad feeling! I recognized that fedora! The ice cream lady. No! It was Detective Syrus! Whaaaa "Ooooo," Hiram flashed another fan of $300, "You have great taste!" I felt panic well up in me. I was nervous before, but this was beyond that level. I shot a glance at Jay who was too busy getting drunk off Ms.Terri. She had him already intoxicated? Well, he was allergic to nuts, maybe he is a lightweight of alcohol too? Nevermind that! My dancer is the detective we have been trying to avoid!
