I blinked up at him in surprise. Did the president of USK State just offer to give me a massage? My head throbbed in pain. I reached up and pressed my fingers against my temples. Unable to think any further, I let out a ragged breath and nodded my head. Butterflies erupted in my stomach as I saw the corner of his mouth tip up slightly. I cleared my throat and raised my eyes to his. The anxious look that was there just moments ago turned into pure understanding. He knew what it meant to be so exhausted that you just wanted to sink into oblivion. Sitting gently down beside me on the bed, he removed his watch and placed it on the nightstand.
