CHAPTER 3 ADIRA'S Pov I took a deep breath as I turned and saw Damien standing there, near the secret entrance I just walked out of. Right now I was getting ready to return to my mate, but not for long. Soon I'll return and come back home to my people, but right now I needed to see Elijah. If what Damien saw, then I don't have long to try and settle him before the vision plays out realistically.  So, I stand near the woods looking over my shoulder to see Damien waving goodbye before shutting the door. I only nodded back as I turned to my front, getting ready to shift for a long journey ahead of me. And during that time I'll have to think of an excuse of why I was gone. I know I don't want to lie to my mate, but if he's anything like what I've been told then I have no choice to spit out lies to keep him calm. ~2 Hours Later~ I was in he's lands.  Well, not exactly but I was close to the border. The only thing stopping me is the lake that sat between the border and the wild forest. Suddenly I felt this uneasy feeling.  Is this what humans felt when they said they were nervous? Either way, I didn't like this feeling.  That's when I caught a glimpse of he's scent. Shit! He was close! I started to feel uneasy, but to decide to hide it back with a firm expression. One that didn't show any emotion. I didn't want him to know what I was thinking from just one stare at my face. I couldn't have that, not when I came here to console him to change, before it's too late.   But I still haven't find the best method for this plan. One wrong move then it could fall into the vision. And that's not my goal right now. Instead I take in a breath that came out shaky getting ready to face my mate. That's when it happened. He stopped. He just stood there staring, as if not believing I was here, after all these years. The only thing between us was the lake, but that didn't stop him. He soon swam through it and reached me. And damn was he fast. I composed myself from being so closed to him, after so many years. He grabbed me and held me tightly, as if afraid I would vanish. I let my wolf take in our mate's scent, letting her know he was really here. Although I left, my wolf didn't want this. Didn't want to leave her mate, but after a year she finally accepted it. I guess right now she is just too overwhelmed, so was I. Because we didn't say anything for a while, until I chose to finally break the silence. "Hi." I whispered, which he acknowledged. "Hi." He replied as he leaned he's forehead to mine, taking in my scent. Well I guess the first stage of the unknown plan is done. Finding him, check. Now I just need to break ties with him once and for all, even if it meant war. Because no one hurts my people, my wolves. Even if it meant killing him.
