I was getting dinner put out on the table when I got the message from Aaron asking about having lunch together. It sounded wonderful to me and would give me time to get to know him and maybe see about getting a real kiss. My friends had told me not to act desperate, so I waited until after dinner to let him know that I’d like to eat lunch with him. My friends do have more experience with boys than I do, but something about waiting to reply just to make myself look better didn’t feel right to me. I’ll have to think about it. Tomorrow is Saturday and Old Bill will take care of the midnight milking like he has for the last 10 years. Since dad doesn’t have to go to bed so early, we play card games or board games after dinner. We kept the tradition after my mom died. I was thinking which games
