Chapter 9
It did not take long for Michael to notice the change in Max’s business. He called a meeting with, Angelo, Colin and a few other high ranking businessmen that were their friends.
When the meeting opened, Michael addressed Angelo, “I thought you had taken care of Max.”
“We all did” Angelo replied. Apart from Don, I went to see him and explained our plan but he didn’t welcome me and the meeting ended up in a disaster.”
“So what is happening?” Colin asked
“You know how we tried to push Max’s business down so we could buy it at lower price? Well we did a good job. He sold all his assets in order to keep the business going. When he ran out of money we were all ready to take over but in some mysterious way his business has picked-up.” Michael replied
