Chapter 14
At hospital when Don found that his daughter was still unconscious, he found the opportunity to ask the rescue group and the authorities not to release Sandy’s name due to a fear for her life. He then went back to Sandy’s room and sat next to Donna. “I better call Nancy and see how everything at work is?” He then walks out side and makes the call.
Shocked, Nancy did not know how to react. The first thing she asked. “How are you and Donna doing? Any news on Sandy?”
“Thanks god we found Sandy. She is in hospital unconscious.”
“Oh that is so good. At least you found her and let’s hope she gains consciousness soon.”
“Thanks Nancy.” Don replied
Nancy was full of fear and sadness. she knew she eventually had to tell Don about the dinner party the night before. Suddenly Don asks.
