Chapter 17
Sunday afternoon Jasmin, Jackie and Joshua with their families had dinner at one of the best restaurants in town. Mandy, Jason’s wife was invited to the gathering because she fitted well in with the new life style they had.
When Mandy was asked about Jason, she replied. “He’s been acting a bit weird. I am sure he is hiding something from me.”
“Like what?” Joshua asked
“He might be cheating on me.” She replied
“That’s not like Jason.” Jackie said.
But then Mandy went into a deep recess. “You are right Jackie. I just remembered he’s been acting strangely since that night that I threw the surprise party.” Mandy then went ahead and told them everything about Carlos coming to restaurant and how Jason saved him from some men that wanted to take him away.
“Where is Carlos now?”
