It occurred to me that if I could find a number of bodies with similar injuries to Brian’s and draw these to the attention of the police, then when Brian was discovered, they might presume that whoever had killed the other victims had also killed Brian.
And that could get me off the hook.
Of course, I didn’t know where there might be any bodies in a similar state to Brian’s, but it seemed certain that there would be a few, more than a few, given that Jim owned equipment that had been made for the express purpose of crushing skulls and removing brains.
How could I find out where they were hidden?
