29 On my return to the office I wrote a powerful follow-up to my first story about the murder. I informed my readers that the victim had been identified as a local man, Brian Sharpe, and I again referred to the perpetrator as the “Skull Crusher”. The quarry where Brian had been found was no longer off-limits, so I went there with a photographer to take pictures to illustrate my story. A picture paints a thousand words, after all.
