40 The next day I called him. “Jed, there’s something I’d like your opinion on.” “Fire away Brad.” “I really need to discuss it in person.” “Okay, I’m free this morning so you can come right over if you want.” After driving to the Northern Quarter and parking at the back of his office block, I made my way to his flea-bitten office on the top floor. He buzzed me in and I sat down on the uncomfortable chair that he reserved for his clients. “Hi, Jed.
