Cade was beyond ready to get the hell out of the hospital. They were taking excellent care of him, but he wanted to go to the bathroom without a witness and take a shower and wear his own damn clothes.
“Good news, Mr. Murray. You can go home today,” the doctor said when he walked in.
“No s**t,” Cade replied.
The doctor chuckled. “Yes, sir. I have your discharge paperwork here for you. I have been assured you will have around the clock care until you’re feeling better, so I have no reason to keep you here any longer.”
