CHAPTER SEVEN: INJURY

We kissed by mistake. I could feel her warm lips over mine as our eyes widened in shock.

The cup of tea already fell on Roberto’s back and he could feel the hotness, his cloth was already soaked. He withdrew immediately from the kiss as he stood up, he went straight into the bathroom.

Everything happened so soon, Anna couldn’t think straight, the only thing she could think about at that moment was the kiss.

“Ah, my stupid brain!” she said tapping her head slightly as she stood up. The whole place was a mess and for some reasons, Roberto wasn’t there.

As she stood up, she started cleaning up the place, the brushed everywhere clean before she started looking for Roberto.

She called his name severally but he didn’t reply. She went to his room and found out he was in the bathroom. She sat on the bed as she waited for him.

Few minutes later, he came out of the bathroom in a robe, immediately his gaze met hers, he asked almost immediately, “Are you okay?” he asked in a tone like he was worried.”

I should be asking you that” Anna said as she stood up slowly from the bed.“Is your back okay? Are you hurt? She was restless as she bombarded him with so many questions, she didn’t even wait for him to reply as she strolled swiftly towards him.

He held her arm to restrict her from coming any closer, he stopped her movement.“I already cooled it with a cold shower” he answered briefly, “can you please leave? I want to put on my clothes’.

He asked as he walked towards his wardrobe, I will talk to you when I am full dressed he smirked.

“Oh, okay” Anna replied as she exited his bedroom. It was already 11:50pm by then, the meeting was by twelve and he could not miss it. He put on his clothes without checking the injury, though his skin got burned and it was hurting, he didn’t feel it so much.

In the past, he had several worse injuries and did not properly treat them since no one cared, it healed on its own so this one was somewhat normal to him. The meeting started soon and he was occupied, he didn’t have the time to talk to Anna.

Anna on the other hand was so worried. When she got to her bedroom, she prepared the first aid box and checked the internet for how she could take care of burns. After a while of surfing the internet, she found a proper way to tend to burn injuries and gathered everything she would be needing, waiting for Roberto’s arrival.

After about one hour, the meeting finally ended. Roberto couldn’t focus throughout the meeting, his mind was occupied with what happened earlier. Even though it was a mistake, it was his first time feeling someone else’s lips. It was so soft and warm, it was like he shouldn’t stop, he thought.

“What am I even thinking?” he mumbled as he stood to go see Anna. Even though he thought she would be asleep since he took so long, he still decided to check.The lights of her room were still switched on, and the door was slightly open. He strolled into her room and found her sleeping peacefully on the couch.

She was still so beautiful even though she was asleep he thought as he smiled softly. He went towards the couch she was lying on and carried her. He carried her up in a bridal style as she stirred in her sleep.

She opened her eyes and could only see a breathtaking face close to hers. He placed her on the bed as she sat up.“Uhm, what are you doing here, Roberto?” she was already fully awake but her mind was still clouded.

“Oh, you’re awake” he smiled, you asked me to come here, he said.“Oh yes yeah I remember, what about your back, did you treat it already? She was curious, she stood up from the bed.

He knew she would be worried and didn’t answer. “Roberto? She called as she came closer to him. Are you alright? The tea was so hot, she said, she blamed herself for being so clumsy and was so beat up.

“Hey, it’s okay, just go to bed” his face held no emotions, he was just holding up a straight face. “No let me see it, pull your clothes” Anna wasn’t thinking as she walked towards the first aid box and other things she had prepared earlier. She brought it to the bed and made Roberto sit.

“Now pull your clothes, let’s treat it” she said.

“Pull my clothes? Roberto asked with a smirk plastered on his handsome face, he was sure she didn’t think about what she would see if he pulled his clothes at that moment, he was dying to see her expression when he pulls his cloth, he chuckled slightly.

“Yes pull just the shirt” she replied. “No! Don’t! I mean, I will call Mr. Frank to come tend to the injury” she stammered as she got to realize what was going to happen. She stood up and was about to leave the room when Roberto stopped her.

“Just forget it, the old man is fast asleep and he can’t even do anything even if he was awake” Roberto stopped her with his cold and expressionless face. He looked like he was pissed now.

“Since you don’t want to do it, I will just bear the pain” he said and stood up from the bed. He smiled secretly as she was playing her. He already read so much comic books since that was the only fun thing he could do. He was testing the things he read from those romance comic books on this little naïve girl, it was so fun, he could just hold his laughter.

“I will do it” she said. Her face was already flushed, it was burning red and she didn’t even look at him. She was so embarrassed only thinking about it, a little part of her was so curious what his body would look like.All the buttons of his shirt was finally unbuttoned as he pulled his shirt.

Not only his face but his body was also gorgeous, his muscles were well built and was so sexy. This could serve as a bait to get any girl, she couldn’t stop staring. She was trying so hard to look away but her eyes were acting on their own.
