Isaac's POV
My mom walked into the room with the alpha next to her. They sat down in front of me.
"Mom, what's wrong?" My 14-year-old self asked.
She wiped her tears and looked over at Alpha Conner. She sighed and leaned on her knees with her elbows. "Honey, your father got hurt."
"What happened?"
"Isaac, some members from other packs raided our pack."
I remember the name hat my dad had told me about last week. "Was it rogues?"
Mom sat up, giving me a confused look. "How do you know about that?"
"Dad told me about them. I know that there are bad people in the world, Mom. I'm 14, I'm not a child."
"Yes, Isaac, it was rogues."
I felt my eyes water. "Is.. is he gone?"
