Lucas slammed the door to his office, the heavy sound echoing through the room. His new second-in-command, Damian Reyes, walked in and closed the door.
“They threatened Lily, Damian! They want to kill her!”

Lucas stopped, turning to face Damian. “They said they’d kill Desi, her doctor!”
“Whoever sent that message is playing mind games,” Damian replied, his tone measured. “But we need to figure out who they are first.”
