“Why the hell did you do that?” An amused smile lingered on my face.
She shrugged and took a bite from her butter pecan ice cream. “I just wanted to see if he was truly the one behind those shitty articles about us.”
“So…” I adjusted myself sideways on her bed so I was facing her where she sat on the floor. “Did you see any reaction that further convinced you that he is the culprit?”
