Title: Vengeance 2 Chapter 1: The Pursuit Begins Twelve policemen were on a mission to find the lunatic murderer, Evan. To expedite their progress, they split into three-man squads, each searching in four different directions to prevent further casualties. Meanwhile, Evan held a knife in his hand, gazing at a picture of his wife, Hannah. As he looked at her smiling face, he believed that she was encouraging him to complete his mission. In his mind, he contemplated suicide as a means to reunite with his beloved wife. However, his inner demon heart had other plans. It hungered for the punishment of the guilty, believing that as an embodiment of justice, Evan had no right to die. As time ticked away, one police squad closed in on Evan’s location. Hesitant and torn between two voices in his head, Evan found himself paralyzed with indecision. Holding the knife tightly, he continued to stare at his wife’s picture. But before he could make a choice, two of the four police squads arrived almost simultaneously. They commanded Evan to freeze and put down his weapon, reminding him that there was nowhere to run. The pressure mounted, and Evan grew increasingly nervous. Without thinking, he attempted to slit his own throat with the knife. Fortunately, Inspector Sam and Sergeant Victor managed to intervene just in time, forcefully removing the weapon from Evan’s grasp. Evan struggled to escape, but after a few moments, he stopped resisting and allowed the police to handcuff him. As they escorted him to the police car, Evan noticed his wife’s picture lying on the floor. Desperate to hold onto it, he begged the officers to help him retrieve it, even kneeling before them and pleading. But the police remained indifferent, forcing Evan to abandon the picture. He tearfully promised to cooperate with them, as long as they returned the picture to him. However, they ignored his pleas and dragged him away. Chapter 2: The Lawyer’s Visit Upon reaching the Kentucky police station, Evan was taken to an interrogation room where three police officers awaited him. One officer questioned him, another documented the evidence, and the third casually sipped on a mocha while observing Evan from a corner of the room. Evan did not know their names, but he was determined to surrender and cooperate with them. As he confessed his sins, his inner heart, the embodiment of justice, attempted to emerge. Evan struggled to control it but ultimately failed. He transformed into a cold and terrifying figure, striking fear into the hearts of the police officers. They exchanged bewildered glances, questioning whether Evan was responsible for the chaos. Evan, or rather the embodiment of justice, confirmed their suspicions, blaming the police for their incompetence and corruption. He vowed to make them suffer, to make them beg for death, as they had allowed Samuel to escape justice. Before the interrogation could continue, a lawyer named Alex Koo arrived, claiming to be Evan’s legal representative. The police officers were taken aback when they saw Alex in a wheelchair, mocking his ability to practice law. Unfazed, Alex explained that his mind, not his legs, was his greatest asset. Evan was puzzled by Alex’s willingness to help him, but the embodiment of justice remained in control. Alex informed the police that he was confident he could secure Evan’s freedom, as Evan suffered from a sickness that caused him to lose control of his actions, including the murders. Alex assured Evan that he would not go to jail. Chapter 3: The Courtroom Drama The court proceedings began on August 19, 2023, with Evan in attendance. The opposing lawyer presented a compelling case, providing evidence of Evan’s guilt and arguing for the death penalty. Alex, Evan’s lawyer, countered by claiming that Evan was a good-hearted man who deserved sympathy and justice. He revealed Evan’s dissociative identity disorder, explaining that Evan’s alter ego, Evra Justice, was born out of trauma and sought to bring justice to the world. The judge was shocked and requested proof of this disorder. The opposing lawyer called for a professional psychologist, and the judge granted the request. Psychologist Kim, a successful and beautiful woman, arrived to evaluate Evan. Unbeknownst to the court, Kim was Daniel’s girlfriend, the opposing lawyer. Alex objected, citing a conflict of interest, but Kim assured everyone that she would remain professional and accept any punishment if she acted unfairly towards Evan or Evra. She requested three months to study Evra and determine the truth of his existence. The judge, considering the doubt surrounding Evan’s condition, approved the request. Chapter 4: The Awakening Evan was transferred to the Kentucky mental hospital, where he received standard treatment from doctors and nurses. Kim visited him regularly, attempting to understand the cause of his condition. During one session, Kim’s frustration and anger reached a boiling point when she discovered Daniel’s affair with his secretary, Samantha. Heartbroken and feeling betrayed, Kim’s emotions spiraled out of control. She found herself drawn to the hospital, where she encountered Evan. Seeking solace and revenge, she locked the door to his room and initiated a passionate encounter. As their relationship intensified, Kim’s mindset shifted dramatically. Evra, the embodiment of justice, had awakened her true self. She became determined to seek revenge on Daniel and Samantha, believing that justice was not on her side. Kim and Evra saw themselves as the King and Queen of justice, ready to obtain and control it for themselves. Chapter 5: The Courtroom Revelation The court reconvened after three months, and Kim, now a changed woman, was called to testify. She revealed her transformation and her newfound alliance with Evra. The judge, skeptical of their claims, allowed Kim to explain further. She confessed that she had been brainwashed by Evra, who had awakened her inner desires for revenge. The opposing lawyer objected, but the judge allowed Kim’s testimony to continue. Kim’s revelation shocked the courtroom, and the judge called for a recess. Alex, Evan’s lawyer, requested that Evan be sent to the mental hospital for further evaluation, to which the opposing lawyer strongly objected. However, the judge, considering Evan’s traumatic experiences, approved the request. Chapter 6: The Final Verdict Evan remained in the mental hospital, spending his days fixated on Hannah’s picture. He endured bullying from other patients, but Evra protected him, instilling fear in those who dared to challenge him. The warden and staff avoided Evan, terrified of his presence. Time passed quickly for Evan as he continued his routine, finding solace in his wife’s picture. Before Evan’s final court appearance, Inspector Sam visited him, returning Hannah’s picture. Overwhelmed with gratitude, Evan thanked him profusely, shaking his hand with excitement. Inspector Sam wished him luck with his murder case, unaware of the inner turmoil that plagued Evan. Chapter 7: The Final Revelation In the courtroom, the opposing lawyer presented a strong case against Evan, arguing for the death penalty. Alex, however, revealed the truth about Evan’s condition and the existence of Evra. The judge, intrigued yet skeptical, allowed psychologist Kim to testify. She explained her transformation and her belief in Evra’s existence. The courtroom was in shock, and the judge called for a recess to consider the evidence. During the recess, Kim’s relationship with Daniel was exposed, causing further chaos. The judge decided to grant Evan’s request to be sent to the mental hospital for further evaluation, considering the doubt surrounding his condition. Chapter 8: The Awakening of Justice Evan remained in the mental hospital, his fate uncertain. Kim, now fully committed to Evra’s cause, visited him frequently. Their relationship grew stronger, and they became partners in their pursuit of justice. Evan’s days were filled with passion and purpose, as he and Kim plotted their revenge against those who had wronged them. As time passed, Evan’s court case became a media sensation, with people divided over his guilt or innocence. The final verdict loomed, and the courtroom was filled with anticipation. To be continued!
