An unexpected visit

Martina owns a big supermarket. She has lots and lots of customers who always come in their numbers to buy from her. When Fred first opened the shop for her, she only sold canned foods, rice, sugar, and drinks. But when more people started to buy from her, she opened up the shop into the huge supermarket. She now sold almost everything in the shop.
People came to buy in either retail or wholesale. At first, she only needed to restock every month but now she does so every week. She was making so much money and was proud of her achievement. Her employees were very hardworking, and without their help, she would not have known what she would have done.
They were very reliable and honest, so she had no problems leaving them alone to watch over her supermarket in her absence. She felt blessed to have such people working for her. She had about 6 boys and 5 girls working for her. They all got along well and they were all very competent. They all loved her, as much as she loved them.
One day, as she was restocking her supermarket with one of her girls when a customer walked in. The man, was dressed like someone who had just arrived from abroad. He was elegantly dressed, and spoke really well. She was a bit attracted to the customer, so she decided to serve him, herself.
" Welcome to Mart's supermarket. How can I help you sir?" she smiled broadly.
" Well, thank you. I really wanted to get some things for my house, and honestly, I am at lost on what to buy", the man replied, looking around.
" You are at the right place. What exactly, would you want for your house?" she asked, still wearing a smile.
" Actually, I want to buy some things for my kitchen. I need kitchen wares. And I need to restock my fridge as well. I hope you don't mind, helping me out? The man looked quite confused.
" Don't worry sir, that is why we are here. I am at your service. Can you please follow me this way, I can take you round the kitchen wares stalls, and you can pick whatever you may need for your kitchen", Martina offered.
" Thank you, my kind lady. But, wait? You look kind of familiar, have we met before?" The man looked at Martina intently.
" Well I meet a lot of people, so may be we may have met somewhere I can't remember", Martina replied.
" Wait? Martina, is that you? It's you, right?" the man asked, excitedly.
" Yes I am Martina. How did you know my name?" Martina was now confused. She did not remember meeting this man anywhere, so how did he know her?
" Wow, oh my God. I can't believe it's really you. It's been so long. Don't you remember me?" the man asked, still smiling.
" I am sorry, but I don't remember you. Can you remind me, where we've met before?"
" It's me, Stanley. Your university boyfriend?" Stanley introduced himself.
Martina was shocked. She did not want to believe Stanley was actually standing in front of her, after he left 11 years ago.
" Stan- Stanley? How? This can't be. When did you come back?" Martina stuttered.
" I am so happy I finally ran into you. I have been looking for you everywhere. Thank God I finally found you", he said and hugged her.
Martina was so shocked that she could not even push Stanley away when he hugged her, neither could she even hug him back. She just looked at him, like she was seeing a ghost.
" Why did you come back? After everything you did, you thought I would still be waiting for you?" Martina said in anger, making her employees turn their attention to them.
" Please calm down, Martina. Everybody is looking at us", Stanley whispered.
" Do you think I care? I really wish for everyone to hear me. You are an ingrate. How could you do that to me?" Martina shouted angrily.
" I just want us to talk. Please, can we go somewhere more private?" Stanley offered.
" I will never go anywhere with you. You know what, leave my shop, right now. Or I will make my boys throw you out", Martina continued to shout.
" Okay, okay, I will go. But I will be back. You and I have a lot of things to talk about", he said and left.
Martina was fuming in anger. How dare he? After everything he did, he still had the audacity to come after her and try to explain? What really, did he want to explain? Martina needed to call someone, with whom she could tell everything she felt inside. So she took her bag, and called one of her girls.
" Eva, please finish restocking the shop with Annabelle, okay? I need to go out. I might not come back so close up as soon as you are done with everything here".
" Okay, Auntie", Eva nodded.
Martina stepped outside and walked towards her car. She got in and drove straight to Linda's hair dressing salon. Linda welcomed her with a smile, but the look on Martina's face made her frown.
" What happened? Did anything happen at the supermarket today?"
" Everything was going well, till an unexpected visitor came and ruined my day. I can't believe he came back", Martina said.
" Who are you talking about?Linda asked, looking confused.
" Stanley was just by the supermarket today", Martina spat out.
" What?! When did he come back? I thought he would never come back, after what happened between you two", Linda said.
" He is back. And after 11 years, he wants to pretend like nothing happened, like everything is fine. The cheek of it. He had the audacity to tell me he had been looking for me. Can you imagine? " Martina angrily said.
" And what for? He must be crazy. Does he think after everything you will just listen to him and pretend as if you are on good terms? I hope you did not listen to any silly thing he wanted to say?" Linda asked.
" Of course not. I threw him out before he could say whatever it is that he wanted to say. There is no way I am going to entertain him, ever again", Martina said, wearing a frown.
" That's my girl. I don't think Fred will be happy to hear this. If he comes back again dear, throw him out", Linda laughed.
Martina finally laughed. She never thought she would have the courage to do what she did to Stanley. She really hoped she will never see him again. All she wanted was to be happy with her family and she did not want Stanley to come and ruin everything for her again.
