Chapter 12: Day 6 - The Strange Vine

Morning arrived, and Day 6 on the island began. Like usual, everyone woke up early and caught fish and crabs for breakfast. After freshening up, they ate together while Tracy prepared the food.

After breakfast, The Gate Seekers decided to search the island because of all the strange and horrible things happening there.

“I think someone might be hiding on this island,” Rickey said seriously.

Everyone agreed.

Just then, Stacy and Samhitha came to play with them, but after hearing about the search, they also joined the group.

Before leaving, they informed Henry and Tracy.

“Come back before lunchtime,” Tracy said.

Everyone nodded and headed deep into the island.

Soon, they reached the middle area where Julie had once fallen unconscious. Rickey suggested that everyone split up and search in different directions for anything suspicious.

Everyone left one by one.

Rickey stood there for a few seconds before starting to walk, but suddenly he tripped and fell down because of the same vine that had made Julie fall earlier.

Annoyed, he quickly stood up and continued searching.

After some time, Vickey and Julie returned near the middle at the same time. Seeing each other, both blushed slightly.

But suddenly Julie tripped over the vine and fell again.

Vickey rushed to help her but also fell down immediately.

The two looked at each other and laughed.

Soon, Rockey arrived and also fell because of the same vine, making everyone laugh even more.

Later, Rickey and Alex returned and waited for Stacy and Samhitha, but the twins still hadn’t come back.

Worried, Rickey and Alex decided to search for them, but both of them tripped over the vine at the exact same time.

Julie, Vickey, and Rockey burst into laughter.

Embarrassed, Rickey and Alex quickly stood up and went searching. Luckily, after some time, they saw Stacy and Samhitha returning safely.

Everyone sighed in relief and went back to the shore.

Meanwhile, Henry had returned from Twin 2 Island with a few rabbits. Tracy prepared lunch, and everyone happily ate rabbits, fish, and crabs together.

After lunch, Rickey asked seriously,

“Did anyone find anything suspicious?”

Everyone replied,

“No.”

Soon evening arrived. Tracy prepared dinner while everyone gathered near the campfire. Henry started singing songs happily, and all the children began dancing around the fire while laughing and enjoying the peaceful night together.

After dinner, everyone became tired and went inside the hut to sleep.

But Rickey couldn’t sleep.

He kept thinking about the strange vine in the middle of the island.

Finally, he quietly walked alone into the forest to check it once again.

As he carefully looked around the area, Rickey suddenly froze in shock after seeing something unbelievable.
