**Ariannas POV**
Sleep evaded me all night. I was given too much information to digest. First off, werewolves were real. Who would have guessed? Then Ian and I were mates. Basically, soul mates but more intense. Being mates pretty much made me a mother to all the wolves in their pack. But in order to be the Luna, I had to be turned into a wolf myself. That last one was hard to wrap my mind around. It is not like I am doing a lot in my life at the moment. The problem is, could I just leave and forget everything that I have known my whole life?
I was no closer to an answer than when I first laid down. My phone alarm clock went off, alerting me it was time to get ready for work. How could I be around my father today? With everything that I was struggling with internally. I didn't want to alert him that anything was wrong. I grabbed my phone off the side table to the left of my bed. I opened my dad's conversation. I couldn't leave him to work in the shop by himself though. Guilt has already started eating at me. I closed my phone and put it back on the stand.
I swung my legs over the side of my bed and grabbed my head. I needed some water and coffee. I walked into my bathroom to grab the Tylenol from above the toilet. Deja Vu of the morning after drinking wine with Casey. I walked out into the kitchen and started the coffee maker. While that was going, I headed back into my room to attempt to put on an outfit fit for work and finish getting ready.
As I looked in my full-length mirror I could tell that I needed more sleep. Well, sleep in general, seeing as I didn't sleep a wink last night. Caffeine was going to be my best friend today. I was about to head out the door when I recalled that I had left my car at Ians last night. I groaned out loud. What was I going to do? I pulled my phone out of my purse and opened up me and Ian's conversation.
Sorry to bother you, but are you able to come get me? I left my car at your house but I need to head to work. I waited for Ian's reply.
I will be there in 5 minutes. Ian answered back.
I wandered around my apartment putting things away as I waited for Ian. If I sat down I might close my eyes and that would be the end. As promised, I heard a knock on my door after 5 minutes. I walked over and checked to make sure and I could see Ian standing by the door. His hands were in his pockets and he looked almost as bad as I felt. Almost. My heart squeezed at the thought. I can't give into that feeling right now though. I still had a lot to think about and decide.
I pulled open my door. Ian looked up at me. He didn't quite look at me. My guess he was fighting the same feeling I had on the other side of the door. He extended his hand out to me and gave me my keys. "I had my mother follow me so that I could bring your car to you and you did not have to come back to the house. I know you asked for space and time and I am going to respect that," he said.
"Thank you Ian. I am sorry, I am not doing this to hurt you. I just need to think."
"I understand." He said. He gave me a small smile and turned to his left to head out of my apartment building. I gave a few minutes to make sure that he was gone and then headed out to my car.
Once at the shop, I tried to do as much as I could to keep my mind busy and to also stay awake. Which was getting harder and harder to do. My whole body ached. Screaming at me to sit down.
" Are you alright Ariann?" My father finally asked.
"Yeah why?"
"You seem far off today and you haven't stopped moving since you got here." We were standing in the back room. It held all the cleaning supplies.
"I didn't sleep very well. I am just tired dad, dont worry." I gave his a smile. Not quite reaching my eyes. I am sure he could tell.
"Why don't you head home then? I can finish out the day here by myself. I know how to run the register." He chuckled at me.
"Are you sure?" I asked him.
"Yes. Go get some rest and I will see you back here tomorrow honey." He leaned forward and hugged me. I stopped in the office long enough to grab my laptop and purse. Waved good bye to my father and then headed out the front door to my car to drive back to my apartment for my much needed sleep.
I slid into my car and turned the engine over. I slowly pulled out of the spot near the shop and headed down the main road. When I got to the stretch of road that was a little way from the main shops, I picked up speed. I am not sure what happened exactly. I had a green light and I was passing through an intersection. The next thing I knew was a powerful force hitting my side of the car. My body instantly hurt all over and I felt like I was being crushed on my left side. That is when everything went black.
