GINA Mr Thorn apparently struggled to pick his mouth from the ground as he stared at Atticus filling up the doorway, with wide eyes. The lecturer looked surprised, and somewhat amazed. His shoulders sagging with obvious relief. I guess the thought of losing his best students worried him, it made me feel warm that at least I had someone who was ready to believe in me and believed me. Tears filled my eyes again and I subtly bit down hard on my lip so they wouldn't fall. What in the moon goddess's name was Atticus doing?
