Chapter 3: The Coven

In the coven, every witch was covered in black, today is a feast day, every blood moon a lone wolf is killed and is sacrificed or someone is being sworn in or initiated into the coven, many other powerful ceremonies are held on the day of the blood moon but today was the sacrifice of the lone wolf.

After the ceremony I would bring up my topi for high ranked witches to discuss the next step and further actions, the wolf was slaughtered and it’s blood was given to coven members to drink after the feast ended, I went to the priestess who has been ruling the coven for years (witches tend to leave longer due to magic ).

“Yes Echidna you said you had something for me?”

“Yes high priestess, I could tell the whole congregation if you don’t mind”.

“Go ahead”.

“Witches of the Wiccan Coven we have gathered to drink from our enemies blood and feed on their flesh”.

“Yesss!!!!…… the congregation shouted.

“I have come here today with good and bad news, the bad news is…. The child which the prophecy said was forbidden is alive”.

The congregation began murmuring and lots of side talks were heard.

“Enough!!!,…. The priestess shouted and nodded her head as a signal for me to go on.

“Thank you mother, we all know we tried to kill that child but one of our own betrayed us, we could only find Jadis but when we did she had given birth to the child, the good news is I know who and where this child lives, we need to act fast and carefully this time”.
