Oliver appeared visibly better since the last time I had seen him, after his mission and the tortures he endured. The mere memory of that dark camp, the fallen wolf bodies, and Harvey being momentarily subdued by the beast were enough to snap me out of my trance. The alpha's snout brought me back to reality, jolting me from my grim recollections. “Is everything okay?” he inquired, gazing at me with analytical eyes. “There's no reason to fear the Beta.
