"So what did you mean?" he asked after we sat in silence for a good minute.
"Like friendship. Definitely not like that" he replied scratching the back of his head and blushing.
Arlo definitely notice but he wasn't going to embarrass him any longer. Arlo knew Calvin had a crush on him and he knew he liked Calvin. Wouldn't that be weird asking him out on the first day they met? It would be and he knew that for a fact. Calvin seems rather oblivious to his crush on him, he doesn't seem to notice the obvious things yet he notices all the small little niches he has. His thought had been interrupted.
"What are we gonna do when we hang out tonight? Should we invite Emmy and Niccarrahh? OH! WE SHOULD WATCH GILMORE GIRLS!!!" Calvin yelled. The whole class including the teacher just stared at him. "Sorry, that was a bit louder than I intended" Calvin responded to the glares of second hand embarrassment and humor.
The bell rang and everyon but Arlo and Calvin shot up from their seats. The two boys stayed back while laughing an talking about their plans.
"Should we invite Em and Nic?" Calvin wondered.
"I texted them and Em said she can't because she's studying for SAT's even though they're in four years. And Niccarrahh said she can so it'll be us three."
"Great! Nic loves Gilmore girls! Can we have ice cream, candy, and pizza too!? I promise I'll pay! " Calvin promised.
"No. Paying is my pleasure. I mean it will be the first time we hung out outside of school. Are we going to your house or mine? " Arlo questioned.
"Let's go to your house. I wanna see what it looks like. I have to stop at my house so you can still see it. Deal? "
"Deal. "
