Chapter - 119 - A Tough Day

Steev's POV :

We both were having some fun conversation with each other while Shika was driving the car towards way back home. We were already very late but I was feeling that the day should never end. But I could see that the time was running so quickly. The more i was thinking that the time should go slow the more the time was running. But there was one satisfaction in me that Sunday we were meeting. So I was a bit okay about it. If that plan was not there then definitely I would be sad after reaching back home. I could see the connection growing in between us and I was really glad about it. I could see my dream coming true. I was feeling like I was about to achieve something. I was about to get something that I always dreamt of. I slowly went deep inside a tiny dream world. I knew I should have been speaking to Shika and spend the time but my mind was not in my control. I was automatically going into a dream world. I was imagining Shika and I holding hands and walking in a beautiful grean garden. It was one sunny day with blue sky. But suddenly it starts raining and we both get wet. As we were getting wet we ran towards a huge tree and stood under it. And after standing there we both were standing so close to eachother. We both looked into each other's eyes and that scene was so romantic. As I was dreaming Deep about the scene I heard Shika calling me. " Steev, look we reached your house. " " What are you serious? " , I said and looked outside and yes we had reached my house. It was really too quick I felt. " Shika, was the car too fast or something? " , I asked. " No Steev , it was at normal speed. Why what happened? did you feel like I was driving fast? you could have told me right. " , said Shika. " No Shika not like that, I said like that because I did not realise at all that how fast did we reach here. " , I said. " I know why you felt so. " , Shika said. " Really? then tell me what is it? " , I asked. " You felt like that because you were deep into the dream world. " Shika said and started laughing. " Ha ha ha may be you are right. " , I said and laughed too. " I was looking at you and I realised that you were dreaming. And You know what, you were smiling as well. " , She said. " Oh my God, are you kidding me? Did I really smile? " , I asked. " Yes of course you did. I am not kidding at all. " , she replied. " Oh God I didn't realise that. Haha. " , I said. " Yes that time it was confirmed that you were dreaming. " , she said. I was happy that she understood everything but she was happy about it. " Steev are you not going home? " , she asked. " Oh yes yes I forgot about it. " , I said. " You are so funny Steev. " , she said and giggled. " Yes but it's only for you. " , I said. " Oh oh that's cool. " she replied. " okay Shika then I will leave. See you on Sunday. " , I replied. " Yes let's meet on Sunday until then see ya take care. " , she said. " You too take care Shika. bye bye. " , I said and then started walking towards my room. And Shika drove her car towards her home. I reached the room. I opened the door and went inside. I saw John was in the kitchen about to prepare for the dinner. Thankfully he had not yet started. " John, I'm back. " , I said. " Wow finally you are back. I was waiting for you. Then I thought to to prepare for dinner. I was literally missing you bro. " , John said. " Yes John I know that. But you know what you do not prepare dinner today. " , I said. " But why? you had food from outside but I am hungry. I need to have right. " , John said. " I said like that because I have bought food for you. Come John. " , I said. " Wow that's great. " , he replied. I opened the packet of food and served in the plate and gave it to John. " This much? i will try how much I can eat okay. " , John said. " Yes John sure. You have how much you can have. Even we were not able to complete the food. " , I said. " So what you did with the remaining food? " , John asked. " we packed it and brought. See it is in this packet. " , I said and showed him the packet. " That's really good Steev, well done. I was worried that the food would get wasted. I too will eat how much I can eat now then later the remaining food I will eat later or tomorrow. " , John said.

" Yes John sure. That's a good idea. Even my food is there. I will also eat to probably later or else tomorrow. " , I replied. " Steev, this food is really too yummy. " , John said. " Yes exactly. It is very tasty. " , I said. " From where is this food by the way? , asked John. " The resturant is on the way to my office. Restuarant and office is few metres away. I had seen it before also while going to office. So went there. It is really beautiful. " , I said. " That's great Steev, some day let us also go there. Okay, what's say? " , said John. " Yes John, definitely we'll go there once. " , I said. While talking to me John finally completed having his food. And his noodles was remaining. " Look steev my noodles are remaining. I will have this tomorrow. " , he said. " Yes that's right. " , I said. He packed the remaining food in a tiffin box and kept it. Even I too opened the packet in which my noodles was also there. I too took a tifin box and stored the noodles in that tiffin box. We had a fridge in our room so it was possible for us to store the food for the next day. " John I have an idea. " , I said. " What is the idea ? let me know too. " , John replied. " However there is noodles remaining right so shall we take it to our office for lunch. Instead of going out at least for a day we can manage with this right. " , I said. " Yes Steev, that is a great idea." , replied John. " okay then finalized that tomorrow for lunch this will be the food. " , I said. I had said like that because I did not wanted to have Sophia's tiffin. I wanted to give her a reply that I had my tiffin. If I say that she would stop getting tiffin for me. I did not want her to get tiffin for me on daily basis. " Hey Steev you forgot something. " , said John. " I forgot something? but what? what did I forget? " , I asked. " You forgot that tomorrow is Saturday. There is no work. It is a holiday. " , said John. " Oh my God. yes you are right. Tomorrow is a holiday but I completely forgot about it. What is wrong with me. Oh God. " , I said. " Yes that is what I was thinking about. " , said John. " Yes, it's okay then it's better that we eat that food for tomorrow's breakfast. What say ? " , I said. " Yes that is also a good idea. Let's do that only. " , John replied. " Okay then it's finalized. " , I said. By then it was 9:00 p m. " Steev, it is already 9:00 p m. shall we go out and do some walking like yesterday? ", asked John. " Yes That is good idea. Come let's go out. " , I replied. " Okay then come on.. " , said John. John opened the door and then we both went out of the room for some fresh air and to walk a little bit. The air was really very much fresh and we both were enjoying the cool, fresh breeze a lot. It was a good habit for everyone to follow according to me. " John, you know what and all happened today? " , I said. " it's okay Steev, It is yours and Shika's personal conversations and moments, why do you wanna share it with me? " , said John. " But John... listen.. " , by the time I said that John again stopped me. " No Steev this time I will not listen to you. " he said. " But just a moment John. I am not going to tell about that matter. I am going to tell something else please listen to me. " , I said. " Oh you were going to say something else. Okay sorry sorry, please continue. " , said John. I wanted to say about whatever Sophia did that day in the office. That thing was still on my mind. " JohnI I wanted to tell you about Sophia. It's a long story. " , I said. " Oh is it. What happened? what did she do? " , asked John. I started narrating whatever had happened with me that day, " as you know that in the morning I was waiting for Sophia to come here so that we could go together to office. right ? however, Shika forced us and took us in her car till the office, but still we were wondering why didn't Sophia come there that day. I too was wondering about it. I was disturbed and worried about the fact that Sophia had not come there that morning. so I thought I would talk to her once we would meet in the office, that's why I went to the office, sat on my place but Sophia was not in the office, she reached at the last 10 minutes to the office and when I asked her she said she will tell me something during the lunch break she was not talking to me normally and you know what she said when I asked her why didn't she come here in the morning ? she said that she had never promised that she would be coming to my home every morning to go to the office, but by seeing the behaviour and the language everything it was as if she would be coming here right so on she said that. I thought maybe yes so I did not care much about it but she had said that she have to talk to me something in the lunch break I was like waiting when will the lunch break come and I would go to talk to her and after hours passed finally it was that break. She was really behaving weird she was not ready to come with me to have lunch and so on however finally we when to the cafe and Sat there. she had brought tiffin for me but when I asked her to tell me what she wanted to tell she said that she would be telling once the food is over because she was very hungry. That time also I agreed. I thought may be really was hungry. And the whole lunch hour was over but Sophia did not speak a word. I felt like purposely she was eating very slowly so that she would not be able to talk to me. She was continuously trying to postpone the matter. After sometime the office hours started and we all went to the office floor. In between the office hours we got a short break to relax but still over there as well she was not ready to talk to me. Neither I bothered to talk to her because I too felt that I had some self respect. Hours passed and finally that days training had came to an end, it was 5:00 p m. already and I was seeing that Sophia just got up from her place and started walking towards the exit, the girl who used to come with me everyday was leaving me all alone and walking by herself. when I tried to go call her she just ignored and just walked from there m. 6 I followed her I try to call her again and again but she never responded. she went out of the gate. I too went behind her and I called her name as louder as possible but she did not turn. I was sure that she might have heard my voice but still she did not bother to even turn and as I was seeing she quickly went and sat in an auto by the time I reached near the auto she had already left from there it was so disturbing to watch I was totally upset and puzzled about what was going on what was my mistake that she was behaving to me like that however Sofia had a good friendship with me but all of a sudden she was behaving like a stranger to me in the morning Shika had told me that she would be coming to pick me up in the evening after the work but I had just forgotten about that because of Sophia. and I too had sat in an auto and sophia's auto but soon within a minute I realised about Shika. That she had informed me that she would be coming to pick me up in the evening at 5:00 p m after the office. That is why quickly I apologized the auto driver and quickly got down from the auto. After getting down from the auto I went back to the main gate of my office and then I stood there waiting for Shika to arrive. Luckily she had not yet arrived there so I was at the safer side I could say. After that Shika came to pick me up and then I sat in her car and then we drove. I just roughly tried to explain you what had happened but deep inside I am too hurt because of Sophia. I hope you understand John. "
