Chapter - 121 - A day to fetch Sophia's house

Steev's POV :

I was laying down and relaxing on my bed until John would come back from the washroom, and I could see that John was coming out of the washroom and I was like ' oh no my time has come to finally get up from the bed and start the day '. " Hey Steev, I am done. You go now. Your turn. " , said John. " Yes bro I am going. " , I said. then is slowly got up like lazy pig and walked really very slowly to the washroom after going to the washroom I finished of all my work and came out within fifteen minutes. " Hey Steev what do we prepare for breakfast today? " John asked. " Hey we have yesterday's noodles right. " , I reminded. " Oh yes you are right. I just forgot about that. Ha ha " , said John. " No problem bro, I will take it out from the fridge and make it hot. After that we can have it. " I said. " yes sure. I will come with you as well. " , John said. And then we both went to think kitchen, removed the tiffin box from the fridge in which we had stored our noodles in it. I took a deep pan and John shifted the noodles from the tiffin box to the deep pan. I turned on the stove and John placed the deep pan on the stove. Hand in hand we were working together. Then I took a spatula and started stirring it. Within ten minutes thr noodles was hot enough to eat it. By the time I was taking care of the noodles work John started preparing coffee. I kept down the pan in which the noodles was there and then I shared the noodles equally into two plates. One for John and one for me. " John, the noodles is ready. I will keep it in the room and come. " , I said. " Yes Steev, you go. " , said John. I kept the plates in the room and went back to the kitchen. John was done preparing the coffee as well for both of us. I took my coffee mug and John took his. After that with our coffee in our hands we went to the room and sat down to have the breakfast. The joy of preparing things together with complete understanding in between two brothers was nothing but heaven. " This looks more yummy today. " , said John. " Yes indeed, I am also feeling the same. " , I said. We both had a bite each of the noodles and yes as we guessed the noodles was more tastier. Without talking to each other much, without looking aside and wasting time we both sat by giving complete concentration on food only. I finished eating first. After eating I took a sip of coffee. The coffee was delicious too. John also finished eating and started having his coffee. That day's breakfast was very tasty. After finishing the food we got up and took our dishes to the kitchen and kept it inside the sink. One by one, one after another we washed our own dishes. And placed them in its own places. Instead of being lazy with kitchen or house hold work we always liked completing the work there and then with each other's help and company.

After we finished all of our work and the time was 10:00 a m. " Steev, what time shall we go to Sophia's house? " , John asked. " Hmm... let's see. " , I said. " What let's see.. I think we need to go around 11:30 a m. that would be fine I feel. " , said John. " Okay then fine. Let's do that. " , I said. " After reaching her house and after meeting her, what are we supposed to say at first ? " , I added. " You need not by heart or learn from here and go about what to be spoken. You should stand in front of her and speak your heart out. You need to directly ask whatever you want to and let her know what all that you have gone through because of her behaviour. " , I said. " Yes John you are right. I will do that. " , I replied. " I just asked that because if there was any tricky sentence or question because of which she would not resist answering any questions without any hesitation or secrecy. " , I said. " What? seriously you are saying this? ha ha ha, is there any logic for this, Steev? " , said John. " I know it's meaningless but just like that I said. " , I replied. " Okay now no problem. Let's not drang the same thing for too long. " , said John. We had time till 11:30 a m. so we wear just moving around talking stuffs and spending time. " steev's shall we sweep and mop the floor today? " , said John. " Yes sure, that's a good idea. " , I said. After that our work began. First of all I took a broom and started sweeping the room. I Started sweeping from the kitchen and after that I went to the room and took all the mud and dust which was present over there and collected it and scoped all of them. Then I put them in the dustbin. And my work was done. By the time I was done sweeping the house, John took a wiper and arranged with all the necessary items such as water and liquid which will be in use during moping the floor. After that I went to the washroom to take bath because John had told me that until he mops the floor I could take bath and get back because we did not want to take this work for too along time. We wanted it to quickly finished up quickly because we had some other work as well. I went to the washroom to take bath and by the time John was moping the floor. I came out from the washroom in twenty minutes. After I came out of the washroom I saw that the house was shining bright. It was looking neat and clean and it was only because of John's and my hard work. Once John was done with his work he too went to the washroom to take bath. I thought I would get ready and sit by the time John would come back from his bath. So I quickly removed my dress which I was wearing at home and I wanted to wear some decent clothes because we wear going to Sophia's house to meet her. So it would be not look fine to wear shorts and go to a girls house I felt. Just because of that and nothing else. But I don't why but if instead of Sophia if I would be going to shika's house then I probably may not worry about the clothes that I would be wearing because I know show would not judge me because of my cloths. she was okay with however I was so it was a good thing for me. However I was all ready with some decent clothes to leave and when I was done with that and when I just thought of sitting for a while. When I sat down I sae that John was also done with his taking bath session. After that I told John that, " hey John, I got ready and was waiting for you. I think so you could also get ready now as you are done with taking bath right. " , I said. " Yes Steev you are right. Let me get ready now only. " , said John. When I looked at the clock the time was 11:10 a m already. So I decided to just sit for a while and think what exactly I needed to speak to her so that she would tell me the truth.

" Hey Steev I am ready, shall we leave? " , said John. " Okay let us leave now. That would be fine. " , I replied. after that we both came out of the room and lock the room from outside and then left from there in order to search sophia's house and meet her I knew which road should be used to reach her house that's why I guided John and then we both entered to that lane in which usually Sophia used to go. I thought if we would go to the same lane then we would find out her house. When we went inside the lane there plans here in there both the side and it was thin long road where they will know houses but only compound walls of houses when we completely went inside the lean we saw that it was really small lane in which they will hardly 4 to 5 houses so it was clear that it was not that difficult to find out sophia's house. " John it would be easy for us to search the house because there are only few houses. " , I said. " Yes exactly. Let's go to the first house and ask them which one is Sophia's house. " , said John. " Yes come lets go. " , I said. both went forward and entered the first left house in the lane. I trust the doorbell and then we both should outside the door of that house and we will waiting for someone to open the door of the house but we waited for almost 2 minutes but none of them came out of the house to open the door once again I press the doorbell continuously 2 to 3 times but still none of them came out because of which we thought that maybe they was no one in the house that day that is why in a then opening the door after that we decided to go to the second house and try talking to them so we went to the next door and I then pressed the door bell and then again stood there waiting for someone to open the door. In a while I could see that someone was coming from inside the house. The window of the house was open, from outside we were able to see inside. So I saw someone coming out. " hey John look, someone is coming outside. They might help us. " I said. " Yes yes let's wait and see. " , said John. The person opened the door. It was a old lady. " Who are you? " , she asked. " My name is Steev. " , I said. " Whom you want to meet? " , she asked me. " May I please know where is Sophia's house ? " , I asked. " But why? " , she asked. The old lady was asking us several questions. But I decided to answer them all. She asked me who was I, where was my house. " What are you to Sophia? " , she asked. " I am her colleague and her friend. " , I replied. She even enquired about John. And we answered everything to her. I felt a moment that I was in any quiz competition in which I was trying to answer all the possible questions in order to get a reward. " We answered everything that you asked us, atleast now could you please tell me which one is Sophia's house. " , I said. " Come inside. " , she told. John and I looked at each other's face when the old lady said to come inside suddenly. We were puzzled about it. " Hey John, why is she asking us to go inside her house? Would it be safe enough? " , I asked. " Let's not worry much and we'll see what is going to happen. Let's go and see without any fear. Probably she wants to sit inside and talk to us. " , replied John.
